Boys Back Out on the Pitches
After some excellent work from the boys during their virtual sports lessons, it has been wonderful to see them back out on the pitches getting stuck into their sport with their friends again. They have brought huge enthusiasm and lots of energy to their Games lessons. They have definitely enjoyed the physical interaction of playing with their peers and it has been great to see so many of the boys playing with a smile on their face.
We have focused on touch rugby for the last few weeks, learning new skills and practising old ones and the boys should be really pleased with their efforts. It is a shame that we haven't been able to play our traditional contact rugby, but it has given us some very valuable time developing skills used to evade defenders and become better rugby players. This all culminated with some House Touch Rugby this afternoon, which was eagerly anticipated and hotly contested.
