Mr Wallis grants the Bobcats their wish
Following a request at the School Council meeting, the boys from the Bobcats were beside themselves with excitement when Mr Wallis visited with his tractor on Friday afternoon. The boys were thrilled to get so close to it and all had the chance to climb up into the cab and even fit inside the wheels. The boys had some interesting questions to ask too and found out that the fastest tractor reaches about 40 mph and the tractor they saw weighs the same as about 4 elephants. They wanted to know what the ‘hooks’ in the front of the tractor were for and Mr Wallis explained that he can add farm equipment or weights to the front of the tractor. The visit just goes to show that the School Council really does listen to the child’s voice.
