Pirates Ahoy!
The theme of Activities Week this year has been Pirates and we have done a number of exciting activities based around this topic.
In Pre Prep the boys have been making pirate cookies as well as pirate hats and treasure chests. They have been on an expedition to the recreation ground as well as visiting Cotswold Wildlife Park during on Wednesday.
Years 3 to 5 have been mixed up into three groups, and have worked on a carousel basis through the week. On one day they have been on a Pirate journey down the river, using canoes and kayaks. On other days they have been making Pirate swords, doing treasure hunts, as well as building their own pirate ships and playing human battle ships with water balloons or walking the plank in the swimming pool! On Wednesday, Years 3 to 5 went on an outing to Legoland to discover Pirate Shores within the park.
On Friday all of Bobcats through to Year 6 came together to have a morning of It's A Knockout games and fun to round off what has been an excellent week.
