Glorious sunshine in Devon

For the Year 8 leavers Trip to Georgeham in North Devon we were blessed with a week of glorious sunshine, an exceptional group of boys, a fun filled and challenging activities programme and the team of staff were ok too!  We started the week with a perfect few hours on Croyde beach, after which the boys settled into the lovely accommodation at St George's House. The staff there are so enthusiastic and clearly enjoyed working with our boys. They were taken coasteering, climbing and abseiling, mountain biking, surfing and sea kayaking and the final activity of the week was a very sweaty afternoon of paintballing.

The boys were a real credit to the school for the whole week and I felt very proud to be their teacher. I have done more trips than I care to remember and can honestly say they are the loveliest, easiest and most laid back bunch I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I hope they all enjoyed the trip and managed to catch up on their sleep when they got home after such a busy week.  All of Year 8 will be sadly missed next year, but we wish them all the very best of luck for their future adventures.
