Moulsford has always been such a special community, and I have been one of a lucky few that have had the pleasure of being a part of it. From drama, sport and English to Latin, it always exceeds expectations, and always strives to bring out the best in me as a student and as a person. It has given me many memories since I joined in 2018.
Since I joined in Year 2, I have been continuously amazed by the incredible range of extracurricular activities available at our school. From the moment I became a part of this community, I have had the privilege of participating in a diverse array of activities from American football to debating current affairs. These activities have not only enriched my school experience but also allowed me to develop new skills and explore my passions like drama or DT. The selection of extracurricular opportunities within the school is amazing and is a perfect way to expand your horizons.
I have recently started boarding and the one thing that I immediately saw was that it was like one giant family with everyone supporting and showing school plus boarding values, as well as the delicious food that we get thanks to the fantastic kitchen staff. It has also benefited me by opening me up to a whole new world of games and activities like torch games and darts. It is a wonderful experience that continues to amaze me.
Moulsford sport is a gift to anyone who has the brilliant opportunity to experience it. Whether you’re a sporty person or not, with thanks to Mr Chaffey, everyone is included and has a chance to play a sport that they love and get in some exercise whether it is badminton or rugby. I have had the chance to play in matches and have the brilliant sports team there willing to help me, and let all boys develop in the nurturing environment that is Moulsford sport.
This school is an amazing place to be and learn with its brilliant environment, teachers, lessons and opportunities. It is a place that will be close to my heart and will always be like a home to me. With a special thanks to the amazing staff that work tirelessly to help everyone in the marvellous community that is Moulsford.
