Alice Dutton
Area in the school you are mainly working in:
Year 5 and out on the games field
Where were you previously at school?
I was at Pangbourne College
What did you do over the Summer?
I did a bit of travelling around Europe
What is your main reason for spending time as a JTA during your gap year?
I knew I always wanted to be a JTA and it is a good way to gain some experience of working in a team before I go into the corporate world!
Do you have any connection to Moulsford? What has brought you here?
Yes, my older brother went to Moulsford and my older sister worked here. They both loved it so much so it was a very easy decision to make.
What are you most looking forward to during your time at Moulsford?
Coaching sport
What are your plans after Moulsford?
I am heading to York University to study International Relations

Area in the school you are mainly working in:
Year 3 and helping out with sport
Where were you previously at school?
I was at St Edward’s in Oxford.
What did you do over the Summer?
I spent my summer sailing around France, Spain and Portugal with my family.
Do you have any connection to Moulsford? What has brought you here?
Yes, I was once a student here and I really enjoyed the time I spent at Moulsford.
What is your main reason for spending time as a JTA during your gap year?
I have always loved working with children and I really liked the idea of going back to help at the place that set me off on my academic journey.
What are you most looking forward to during your time at Moulsford?
I would say mainly helping out with the various levels of rugby throughout the school and getting involved with the school productions.
What are your plans after Moulsford?
I am going on to do Theatre Studies.
What has changed since you were a pupil here?
I think the biggest thing is the Pre-Prep area.
Which teachers most inspired you during your time here?
I think Mr Edwards and Mr English had the biggest impact on me, with both of their creative teaching styles.
Do you have any lasting Moulsford memories that you would like to share with us?
I will always remember playing the torch game with all of the boarders during the winter, for hours on end!
