Your choices shape the galaxy
5GS hosted a fantastic assembly on Thursday based around Star Wars and the choices we make. The whole premise was around whether we choose to be a Jedi or venture more to the dark side by becoming a Sith. The boys looked at both sides and highlighted the characteristics, qualities and skills of each. We even had a demonstration of the different lightsaber and combat techniques. Our Head Boy Alex K and Deputy Toby O were invited up on stage to try their hand at saber techniques, along with Mrs Squire and one willing parent volunteer! We even had various comical interludes from Yoda (or was it Obi Pun Kenobi?).
The boys all performed with huge confidence and it was impressive that they had all learnt their lines off by heart. Well done everyone – may the force be with you!
