Robin Bennett talks Stupendous Sport
On Wednesday pupils in Years 3 to 6 had a visit from author Robin Bennett talking all things Stupendous Sport! As the Rugby World Cup is going on right now, Robin talked about the history of rugby and quizzed the boys on bizarre rugby facts. Did you know that over 1 billion people watched the last World Cup and even more are predicted to watch this one? That's an eighth of the population of the whole world! (The boys didn't guess this either!)
Robin was really inspirational, talking about his love of sport AND writing, and the boys asked lots of brilliant questions.
