Revenge of the Fifth
Celebrating ‘Star Wars’ week has seen the boys in 4B think carefully about how they can incorporate positivity into tasks that they might find difficult this term. James Earl Jones, who was the voice of Darth Vader (and Mufasa for all the Lion King fans), was our inspiration that led us to research and write our form assembly. We empathised with Jones’ story while he was growing up, as he refused to speak for eight years due to a stammer that formed during the time he was sent to live with his grandparents.
The boys did amazingly well in such a short period of time after the Easter break and thoroughly enjoyed talking about the difficulties that they have already overcome due to having positive mindsets.
