Moulsford is a truly amazing school offering a vast range of opportunities which prepare us for the challenges that lie in front of us. From these many opportunities all boys learn new things individually and also as a team. Coming from a little primary school, Moulsford was a big step up in life and I took that challenge on board. This school makes everyone a more rounded and confident person when they leave, so you couldn't really ask for more!
My journey through Moulsford has been amazing on all fronts of the Prep School life. The academic side offers so much, ranging from the key languages, to all of the core subjects, so there is plenty to get stuck into. It also offers many dramatic plays, music concerts and soirees, so there is never a dull moment.
A big part of Moulsford for me has been the sports. We have the key sports like rugby, football, hockey and cricket running though the three terms, but also a wide range of other sports and PE activities like basketball, badminton, tennis and swimming. If that isn't enough, there are after school activities which change every half term, offering endless opportunities to learn.
In Year 8, our last term at Moulsford has been challenging because we have had to adapt to a new 'normal' of online school, adapting to learning and motivating ourselves in our own home (and have been the first and hopefully last year 8s to do CE at home!). For our year, not being able to be together and enjoy the end of school events has been a real disappointment, but overall we have overcome it and adapted to the changes all together. All of this has just made us more rounded and experienced people, and that is what Moulsford drives us to be. So we all won't let that disappointing last term get in our way and we will still move on into our new Senior schools better and more confident people.
We are all delighted by the breaking news that we will return to school before the end of term and are looking forward to finishing our time at Prep School on the beautiful grounds of Moulsford.
