Moulsford is a school which helps us to succeed in many areas, but also to fail and learn that failure can move us forward. Moulsford has a plethora of opportunities from kayaking on the River Thames to judo inside our wonderful sports hall. We are also fortunate to have the opportunity of going on school trips, be it a music trip to see ‘Phantom of the Opera’ or going on the longest zipline in the UK. Everything seems possible at Moulsford!
Academically, Moulsford has a vast range of subjects, enabling us to explore the sciences, humanities, arts and languages. The topics and themes that we learn also help in later life. Moulsford provides the opportunity for boys to be involved in dramatic productions and musical soirees. The youngest boys start with a ‘Pre-Prep’ nativity play, with many more opportunities for performance in further years, culminating in the main production in Year 7.
Games is hugely important at Moulsford, with football and rugby in the winter, and cricket in the summer. Moulsford also has a range of activities in the PE department, from climbing to dancing to hockey and many more.
The food at Moulsford is stunning - the kitchen staff are amazing and always receive high reviews from pupils and teachers, whether at breakfast, lunch, break-time snacks or dinner. My personal favourites are the outdoor barbeques in the summer!
We are so fortunate at Moulsford to enjoy such a wonderful school, with excellent staff, facilities and food! Boys are happy here and I am very proud to be the Head Boy of Moulsford Prep School.
