Pre-Prep trip to Aladdin
The Pre-Prep enjoyed a festive visit to the Panto at Windsor on Wednesday morning.
Over 60 excited boys and 12 excited adults (!) headed off to see Aladdin starring a host of celebrities including Basil Brush and Paul Nicholas. A huge amount of fun was had by everyone ('Oh no it wasn't! Oh yes it was!), ice creams were polished off and all made it back to school to try to focus on some lessons in the afternoon.
Thank you to all the staff who looked after the boys during their trip.
Year 3 trip to see Pinocchio
After all their hard work performing, we thought it would be nice for the Year 3 boys to watch someone else perform for them! All of Year 3 went to Cornerstone Theatre in Didcot to watch the production of ‘Pinocchio’.
The Blues Fairy together with her band, ‘The Crickets’, told us the story of Pinocchio. We watched as Gepetto created Pinocchio and we followed the naughty puppet with the growing nose as he learns to make sense of a confusing world. He went from finding fame and fortune to finding himself in the belly of a whale but did he side with the good Blues Fairy, or fall foul of the tricky Fox?
The production was very much enjoyed by all the boys and was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of term. We really enjoyed our interval ice cream! It was also wonderful for the boys to see Bertie W from Year 6 in the cast.
