Tom Palmer workshops
On Thursday we welcomed Tom Palmer, children's sports author, to Moulsford. Tom came in to chat about his books and run workshops for boys in Years 3 to 6. Tom told the boys all about how he got into writing and answered their questions about his work and life.
During the workshops Tom set the boys a quiz and if they got a question correct, they had the chance to kick a conversion over his miniature rugby posts. The person left standing went on to win the trophy and it was hotly contested in each year group.
However, in Year 4 it wasn’t the boys who took home the trophy, it was Miss Browne who was victorious and in a nail-biting finale, Mr Smart won in Year 5!
