Poetry in Music
On Thursday 3rd Oct, nine of our most able musicians were treated to a day of music making at Wellington College. In honour of World Poetry Day, the boys spent the whole day rehearsing pieces on a 'Poetry in Music' theme, culminating in a concert for their parents at the end of the day. This was the first time we have attended this event, and it is always very beneficial for the boys to take a day out to concentrate on music, and play alongside children from other prep schools.
We would very much like to thank Wellington College both for its hospitality and for a wonderfully inspiring day of playing in a large orchestral setting. Well done to all those involved!
