'Twas the Night Before Christmas
Yes – our play was based on the lovely book that I used to read to my children every year! It took many hours of practising words, songs and movements, but in the end Year 3 produced a great Christmas play for 2018.
We had a very strict Jack in the Box keeping the mice, toys and children in order; brilliantly trained reindeer and Father Christmas on his sleigh; a ferocious dog guarding the mince pies and sherry and of course fantastic singers and a funny snowman!
As Year 3 staff we would all like to say well done and thank you to all of the boys, especially for learning so many words of so many songs; also to Miss Moore for helping the boys learn all the music; to Miss Roberts and our gappies for helping with some of the props; and of course to you parents for various bits of costumes, props and support. Thank you!
