Proactivity not Reactivity
The boys of 7S chose to do an assembly on being “proactive” rather than “reactive.” This particularly resonated with 7S as it requires them to accept responsibility for a situation and to take the initiative to make things better. A big part of Year 7 is about growing up and maturing and this assembly really hit home to the boys and helped them look at how to achieve this: “Proactive people carry their own weather with them.”
All in all, the boys had a fantastic time acting out various situations around school where they could be more proactive and even enjoyed rapping about the assembly!
