The Winter Olympics
In their assembly this week 5B celebrated the Winter Olympics which start tomorrow (Friday 9th February) in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The boys talked about the different stadiums in which the events will take place and introduced the new sports which are being included this year.
We were very lucky to have been given an Olympic flag and mascots from South Korea from Mr Mullins who went there on business last week! Two of the boys also wore Olympic kit worn by our very own Olympian, Mr Symonds, who competed in the Winter Olympics in 1994 and 1998.
The boys all learnt their lines brilliantly and enjoyed getting dressed up in their winter skiing gear! Well done 5B.
