Harry G selected to play golf for England
It is very exciting to announce that Old Mole Harry G has been selected on merit to represent England in the inaugural ISGA Under15 National golf event. The tournament is due to take place on the 8th and 9th of April 2018 at Collingtree Park (Northampton). This will follow the Ryder Cup format with the inaugural England v Scotland game.
Harry played golf at Moulsford with Mr English who commented: “Harry first came to my attention after Mrs Harley mentioned that there was a young lad in Year 6 who was absolutely flying with his golf. Intrigued, I invited Harry to come to the driving range on a Thursday night and I immediately saw his massive potential. From then on, Harry was extremely keen to be involved in any golf competitions that were organised.”
Over his last two years at Moulsford, Harry played in the Oratory Golf Tournament in 2015 where he was part of the winning team; two Stowe Putters; he came runner up in the IAPS Golf Championship in 2016, and he played in the Junior Schools Cup, Radley Junior Open and the Wellington Salver.
