Boarders’ BBQ
The annual boarder's BBQ was hosted on Monday evening, and a record number of boys and parents were in attendance. Seeing so many families from the boarding community enjoying the evening together made for a lovely atmosphere, and we very much hope everyone enjoyed the evening. Julie, Dan & Ellie put on a wonderful BBQ, which went down extremely well. The Monday boarders returned to the house following the BBQ and enjoyed an evening of football and manhunt before heading to bed in the Boarding House for the final time this year. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the evening so special.
The end of the boarding year
As the blinds were drawn down, lights turned out, and the boys fell to sleep in the Boarding House for the final time this year, it was hard to believe that another year in my role as Head of Boarding had ended. It has been another hugely rewarding year, and it has been a privilege to look after your boys in the Boarding House throughout the course of the year. The boys have been outstanding and have worked hard to create a very special atmosphere in the Boarding House. I hope they have enjoyed the time spent with us this year and gained something from the experience. Mrs Albon, Isla, myself, and the boarding team are already excited about what is to come next year. Thank you to all the boys for their efforts this year, and I hope you all have a lovely Summer holiday.
