A meal enjoyed with friends
Last week we celebrated our Wednesday and Thursday boarders’ final full night in the Boarding House with a formal supper. The boys all got dressed up in their smart clothes and sat down as a whole group to enjoy a delicious meal. They chose the menu and opted for duck pancakes to start, followed by ‘build your own’ steak fajitas and finished off with ice cream & waffles.
After posing for some photographs the group took part in their first activities of the evening – catching up on the second half of the England game (poor them!) or canoe battles in the pool! After an impromptu Year 8 jump into the pool, the boys then enjoyed a game of ‘boarders break-in’ before retiring to the house to watch some movies and chill. They decided their own bedtime on their final night but we have not had that time confirmed to us!
