Our boys rise to the challenge!
Earlier this year, the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge was taken by the boys in the Year 8 Scholarship form and Year 7 boys in the top two Maths groups. For the first year ever, we not only had seven boys qualifying for the Junior Kangaroo (an extension challenge), but also Hylton H qualified for the Junior Maths Olympiad (the next round in the selection process to find pupils to represent the UK in the International Junior Maths Challenge). Unfortunately due to prior commitments on the day of these next round competitions the boys were unable to participate, but this year's results represent a magnificent achievement by all those taking part.
