Morning Assembly on Table Manners
Our three Deputy Heads gave a very useful and amusing assembly on Monday morning on Table Manners. Mr Hamilton-Smith highlighted what are good, and what are not so good, table manners, ably assisted by his “foreign exchange student”, Antoine (Mr Clements) and his funny arms (Mrs Squire).
Antoine demonstrated how not to eat a bowl of cereal, leaving quite a mess on the floor, very much to the amusement of the boys. He then showed the boys how not to eat a sausage, how not to talk with your mouth full and how not to slouch at the table!
Antoine was very much the talk of the lunch tables on Monday and happily gave a little reminder of the standards that are expected at meals times both at school and at home.
