A Festive Triumph!
Not even Storm Darragh could dampen our festive spirit at this year’s Moulsford Christmas Fair! The event was bursting with joy, laughter, and an incredible array of offerings from our wonderful stallholders, who displayed a dazzling selection of items.
Our school stalls, enthusiastically run by the different year groups, were a huge hit, showcasing true Christmas Spirit. The teddy tombola was a roaring success, selling out in record time – note to self: double the teddies for next year! Meanwhile, the chocolate and sweet tombola and pocket money stalls drew queues that almost snaked around the hall, and our apple juice flew off the shelves (we’ve discovered it’s perfect for making a fabulous Whiskey Sour!).
The highlight for many was a special visit from the big man himself, who delighted our younger guests with his festive cheer, straight from the North Pole. All this merriment was fuelled by delicious food and drinks, generously served by our fantastic staff volunteers.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event such a success – from donations of goodies in advance and volunteering on stall time slots, to our fantastic groundsmen braving the elements in the car park; every piece of tinsel hung added to the festive magic. Your efforts make these events truly special.
While we’re still finalising the total funds raised for the Parents’ Association, we’ll share the exciting results and plans for their use in the New Year. Until then, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
