A night to remember
It was with great anticipation and much excitement that the Moulsford Disco returned last Friday night for Years 6 to 8. This annual and highly popular evening was one of the last Pre-Covid events the school ran in February 2020, so we were delighted to see it finally return in May 2022.
The Disco Team aimed to put on a night to remember, hiring a professional DJ, a photo-booth and coloured LED cube seating to create ‘Club Moulsford’. With 283 children from four different schools in attendance, it was a busy, loud and lively event and fabulous to witness our Sports Hall packed with children singing their heart out to Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa and Bastille’s ‘Pompeii’. We finished the evening in the traditional manner with Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’ and everyone left hot, exhausted, but very happy. We heard one boy loudly saying, “That was the best night of my life!”
The Disco Team would like to thank all parents and MPS staff who generously gave their time on Friday night and all feedback will be used to plan an even better event in 2023!
