One of the defining aspects of Moulsford is the time, energy and commitment given by parents to the Moulsford community. In no area of school life is this more prevalent than through the work of the Moulsford Parents Association (MPA) whose team put in so many hours for the benefit of the boys, the parents and the school, including purchases such as the auto-belay climbing devices depicted above.
Leading the MPA through Covid has not been easy, and my heartfelt thanks go to Louise Holland and her exceptional team who have been brilliant over the past eighteen months. It was so good to hold the Autumn Equinox Party earlier this term, and Bonfire Night was an enormous success, with record numbers attending both events. I know that many families had been eagerly anticipating the Christmas Fair, and so it will be a big disappointment that this event has gone virtual.
The speed at which the Christmas Fair team has pivoted to prepare for an online event has been quite extraordinary, and huge thanks to Vicci Marshall and her team for the flexibility and can-do attitude they have shown.
Valentine Ward steps down shortly from running the Second Hand Uniform Shop over the past four years, having singlehandedly taken the shop online during Covid. Both Valentine, and we, are delighted that the ‘physical’ shop will be returning in January under the new leadership of Lydia Inglis, and the opening hours will be published shortly. The School is extremely fortunate to have the support of such a talented and committed army of volunteers. Thank you.
