Moulsford Fireworks Display
Moulsford’s Bonfire and Fireworks went off with a huge bang (and whizz!) last night! The enormous bonfire, complete with a fishing Guy and his prize catch, was expertly built by our Grounds Staff down on the water meadow and they did a fine job of ensuring it lit up the night sky and warmed up the gathered crowd who watched from the top of the bank.
The new vantage point, with fireworks being let off from the opposite bank of the Thames, ensured a spectacular display, with a stunning array of shapes and colours accompanied by the oohs and ahhs of the large crowd.
A massive thank you to the Bonfire Night Team, Emilia McDonald, Hatty Warren and Caroline Mortimer, together with Lucy in the office, the Grounds Staff and the kitchen staff, for putting on a fantastic event last night! With grateful thanks, the MPA would also like to acknowledge the kind donation of the hog for our hog roast from Vicars Game Ltd.
We would also like to thank all the volunteers who helped set up, marshal, cook and serve the delicious food and drink, sell goodies and then help to clear it all away again, it couldn't have been done without your help!
We hope everyone had an enjoyable evening and thank you for supporting the MPA.
