Wallingford Food Bank
On Wednesday the Moulsford Parents Association once again came together with the Moulsford Charities Team to support our local community. After the resounding success of our Christmas food bank collection, this time the focus was on a Harvest Festival collection.
The Moulsford Community, yet again, showed overwhelming generosity in their donations to the Wallingford Emergency Food Bank. This is a registered charity based in the centre of Wallingford with the aim of providing emergency food packages to those who need them. The current demand is approximately 1000 people and they rely entirely on volunteers and donations of food from the general public, churches and other organisations.
Boys from across the school arrived laden with goodies to drop off and the boys in the Pre-Prep also had a Harvest Festival Assembly on Thursday, before their donations were added to the rest and taken to the Food Bank.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and generosity. There is no doubt that our donations will make a huge difference to the most vulnerable families in our local area.
