What a great day we have had!  Starting with Pre-Prep Prize Giving, celebrating the wonderful achievements that Moulsford’s younger children have made over the year, followed by two fantastic Sports Days for the Pre-Prep and then the Prep School. Across all three events I saw so many excellent examples of Moulsford’s vales of Kindness, Courage and Curiosity. Well done to the children, thank you to parents for the wonderful support that you gave today, and enormous thanks to both Matt Mackinnon and Ollie Corbett for organising both sports events so impeccably.

It’s been a very busy week on the sports front. Highlights included the Moulsford inaugural Under 10 (Year 5) Cricket Festival with Summer Fields and St. John’s Beaumont. Prep School sports festivals are invariably aimed at ‘A’ teams and we are keen that such opportunities are given to all the children. This event did exactly that, and my thanks to Luke Sparrow who organised an extremely memorable day for our Year 5 boys. On Thursday we really enjoyed watching our Year 2 boys play cricket with our Year 3s. Not only was this a really fun afternoon for all the children, but also another excellent opportunity to prepare the Year 2 boys for life in the Prep School in September.

The weather looks suitably sunny for the Parents Association’s Tropical Summer Party on Saturday night. An enormous thank you to Helen Maynard who has done a fantastic job on organising what I know will be a fabulous evening.
