Congratulations to our young artists
Congratulations to Ilia P and Zac W in Year 6 and Sam B in Year 4 who have been selected to have their artwork exhibited at the Newman Rooms in St Aldate’s Oxford as part of Young Art Oxford 2023. A particular well done to Zac who was ‘Commended’ within his age group.
Young Art Oxford is an annual art competition and exhibition open to all Oxfordshire schools for children from Reception to Year 9. The theme this year was Power and the boys produced some fantastic and imaginative artwork, under the guidance of Mrs Cummings.
It was an extremely tight competition this year as they had nearly 3,000 entries and limited space for the exhibition so it is even more of an achievement for the boys. Well done to everyone who submitted an entry and we look forward to seeing the selected pieces at the exhibition in May.
