Leo Plays at Pangbourne
Leo R in Year 8 performed at the Pangbourne Piano Festival at the weekend. The Piano Festival, which was celebrating its 10th anniversary, consists of a wide range of solo and duet classes. It takes the form of a Masterclass with the adjudicator providing feedback after they have played, which is an invaluable experience for young pianists.
Leo, who performed on one of the Steinway pianos, was in a group of 13 – 16 year olds, Grade 5 and above. He performed a piece called L’Orage, which means The Storm and did very well to get an 'Outstanding' for his performance.
