Representatives meet Mr Hamilton-Smith
Members of the School Council from Years 3 to 7 met with Mr Hamilton-Smith on Monday to share their ideas for a smoother running of the school. As always, there were a wide variety of topics discussed, ranging from the inclusion of cookery into the main timetable to the provision of more bathrooms, to buying more ping pong bats and balls and putting a roof on the swimming pool. Other interesting suggestions were for the Head of Boarding to have his own special tie (like the Head Boy), the appointment of Bus Monitors, the return of the Form Tidiness Cup, a Darts Room and ways to reduce food waste. It was a lively discussion and the boys and Mr Hamilton-Smith will meet again after half term before narrowing their ideas down and presenting them to Mr Beardmore-Gray later in the term.
