Moulsford Boys Awarded

A number of Moulsford boys attended a virtual presentation from the Oxfordshire District Scouts on Saturday to receive their Chief Scouts Silver Award. Some of the boys earned the honour last year but due to Covid, the ceremony was delayed so it was fantastic that they were finally able to celebrate the achievement. Well done to Aaryan S in Year 6, Alfie J and Bertie W in Year 7 and Zach W in Year 8.

The Silver Award is the highest award a Cub can earn. To complete it, you need to earn six Activity or Staged Activity Badges of your choice, as well as all seven of the Challenge Awards. The Chief Scout’s Silver Award shows that you’ve given new things a go, played your part, and stuck it out, even when the going got tough.

Scouts from across the County all came together for a ceremony to celebrate their achievements and we would like to offer our congratulations as well.
