Years 3 to 8 swim, row and run
Friday saw the sixth Moulsford Inter-House Triathlon for all boys in Years 3 to 8. Amundsen have been victorious in all five previous events and were keen to keep their unbeaten streak going! Despite the lack of spectators this year, the boys enjoyed a fun afternoon, competing to earn points for their house. The event consisted of swimming, rowing on the ergos and running a lap of the front field. There was a lot of vocal support from their teammates, big smiles and a healthy competitive atmosphere! After an unsettled week of weather, we were also grateful for the rain staying away.
The logistics were slightly more complicated this year to ensure that boys remained in their bubbles, but the event ran smoothly thanks to all of the staff involved.
Every boy’s individual result contributed to the overall final score for each house. It was very close this year but the winner will be announced next week.
