A wonderful start to half term
On the Friday before half term, we saw the annual Junior Musicians’ Concert involving a large number of boys in Years 3 to 5. Our audience was treated to solo pieces on a range of instruments, including the electric guitar! There was also some lovely solo singing. The programme was diverse and the concert welcomed musicians from those who had possibly only recently begun learning, to others who may have been learning for a few years.
It was fantastic to see so many of the younger boys so eager to perform in front of an audience. The concert was a wonderful opportunity for our junior soloists to showcase some of the pieces on which they have worked so hard. The concert was closed by the Junior Choir, who sang ‘Power in Me’ which was a lovely half term send-off! Well done to all the boys involved for all of your hard work.
