The culture of New Zealand – including the fearsome Haka
The boys of 4GS have been learning about the rich culture of New Zealand. They beautifully performed the traditional Maori story of 'Maui and the Giant Fish'. The myth tells the tale of Maui, and how he hauled the great North Island of New Zealand up from the depths of the ocean while fishing with his four brothers. 4GS then challenged the rest of the school to learn and enjoy as much as they can from their lessons this week through, quite possibly, the most fearsome rendition of the Haka the school has ever seen. A huge well done to all of the boys from 4GS.
