Take Responsibility – for yourself and others
Tuesday morning’s assembly was held by 5S who initially recounted the heroic story of Endurance by Ernest Shackleton. This incredible journey demonstrates one man’s responsibility for the lives of the men in his care. Although a trek across the Antarctic is admittedly somewhat different to our day-to-day life at Moulsford, 5S then endeavoured to show the rest of the school where they can similarly take responsibility by performing two highly entertaining and comedic drama pieces impersonating both teachers and other pupils. They looked both at taking responsibility for equipment and for ensuring that they take responsibility for having the right kit and not leaving it up to their parents! Very well done boys, you have certainly set a high benchmark for both 5L and 5O’s assemblies to follow!
