Olympic Silver Medalist, Karen Bennett
Karen Bennett came in to talk to the boys about her journey to become an Olympian and her experience at the Rio Olympics. It was fascinating to hear how she only specialised in rowing relatively late in life and she encouraged the boys to enjoy all of their sports. Karen brought in some memorabilia, including the flashing shoes that all the athletes wore at the Closing Ceremony and her silver medal which the boys enjoyed seeing up close.
