Boarding in Year 6
Along with a number of other Year 6 boys, I started boarding this year and I really enjoy it. I feel like it is a big home that we are all a part of. Everyone is very kind and you make friends with the older years or younger years. After Prep you have a choice of activities such as torch games, climbing, card games or games in the Sports Hall. My evening routine tends to involve playing pool, watching TV and having a piece of toast or fruit. Bedtimes are dependent on how old you are and there is a nice settling period during which we read before lights out. You get really good food and all the boarding staff are really nice. I enjoy boarding because you get to make lots of friends and have plenty of fun.
