A great first year for the Albon family
Boarders BBQ
The annual boarder's BBQ was hosted on Monday evening with a record number of boys and parents in attendance. Seeing so many families from the boarding community enjoying the evening together made for a lovely atmosphere, and we very much hope you all enjoyed the evening. Julie, Dan & Ellie put on a wonderful BBQ for us, which everyone was making the most of. The Monday boarders returned to the house following the BBQ and enjoyed an evening of laser tag and football before heading to bed in the Boarding House for the final time this year. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the evening so special.
First Year in the House
As the blinds were drawn down, lights turned out, and the boys fell to sleep in the Boarding House for the final time this year, it was hard to believe that the first year in my role as Head of Boarding had come to an end. It has been the most rewarding year of my teaching career so far, and it has been a privilege to look after your boys in the Boarding House throughout the course of the year. The boys have been nothing short of fantastic and have worked hard to create a very special atmosphere in the Boarding House. I hope they have enjoyed the time they have spent with us this year and gained something from the experience, and myself, Mrs Albon, and the rest of the boarding team are already excited for what is to come next year. Thank you to all boys for their efforts this year, and I hope you all have a lovely Summer holiday.
