Don’t forget your toothbrush (and toothpaste!)
This week the South Africa Rugby Tour Fundraising Committee organised a collection of toothbrushes and toothpaste for the charity Inspire Children and Youth. The staff and boys participating in the upcoming rugby tour will now be delivering the items personally when they travel to the country later in the year.
When Ingrid Lestrade, the charity's founder visited Moulsford in December to talk to those going on the SA Tour, we were struck by her reports of the dire dental hygiene of the families supported by Inspire, through lack of basic supplies or the money to buy them. Improving dental health is a crucial step to improving overall physical health, and this is something the Moulsford community can actively and directly do to help these families in need.
The committee were overwhelmed by the amount of donations from parents and must also thank Aldi in Didcot who kindly provided a number of items as well.
Thank you to the whole Moulsford community for your kindness and continual support. It will make a huge difference to the lives of the young people being visited.
