MPA Fundraiser makes £360
Last Thursday saw the Bag2School initiative from the Moulsford Parents Association, which had previously been postponed due to lockdown. Parents and staff were invited to bring in their used clothes, shoes, bedding and soft toys which were collected by the Bag2School fundraising scheme. Due to Covid restrictions the drop off had to take place off school grounds and Louise Holland and Jenny Brocklebank from the MPA waited expectantly in a layby hoping to receive a decent number of donations. To say there were overwhelmed was an understatement and once again, the Moulsford community delivered!
A massive thank you to everyone who brought in their unwanted clothes. They collected a massive 1200kg which equates to £360 raised for the MPA!
Bag2School is a free fundraising scheme collecting and selling unwanted textiles to importers and wholesalers in many countries of Eastern and Western Europe, Africa and Asia.
