Eight musicians attend their first brass day

On Monday 29th April, eight boys from Years 5 & 6 attended their first Pangbourne Brass Fun Day. They indeed had great fun bashing away on 'street percussion' instruments, such as waste paper bins and dustbin lids! They also added a lively instrumental accompaniment to 'I Feel Good' by James Brown, which made the audience feel very good indeed!  The afternoon concluded with a performance of 'The Final Countdown', by Europe, from the college Senior Marching Band, which provided oodles of inspiration for the boys' future development as Brass players. Hopefully they all went home and did lots of practice!
