Alex M-K Swims at the London Aquatic Centre
Alex M-K competed at the IAPS National Swimming finals in the 25m Butterfly race on Saturday 9th June. Qualification rounds were held throughout the country last term and Alex qualified as one of the fastest swimmers in the Under 12 Butterfly. It was a huge achievement for Alex to make the national finals and he was very fortunate to get the opportunity to race in the Olympic pool at the London Aquatic Centre!
Earlier in the year Alex also took part in the Swimathon 2018 with other members of the Henley Swimming Club. As a team, they raised over £700 for Cancer Research UK, Marie Curie & The Swimathon Foundation.
