Fantastic musical evening enjoyed by a packed church
An impromptu conversation with Emma Firth, mother to Jamie in 8M and long-time member of the choir at St. Helen's Church, Benson, led to the concert which took place at St. Helen's last Saturday night.
The day started with a Royal Wedding, followed by the FA Cup Final and ended with the Moulsford Senior Choir, Jazz Ensemble and a number of soloists performing alongside the musicians and singers who regularly contribute to services at St Helen's. The programme was very well received by the full capacity audience, ranging from classical, to jazz, to gospel, with a little bit of pop thrown in for good measure.
A big thank you to all the boys, and their parents, whose support and cooperation made the event possible, and also thanks to St. Helen's for giving us such a warm welcome and a lovely buffet afterwards!
