U9s Moulsford Football Tournament
The Moulsford football tournament on Saturday kicked off very well for the visiting side from The Beacon, who won all of their matches in the group stages and went on to beat last year’s winners, Edgeborough in the final. All of the teams that came played some wonderful football, but The Beacon really did deserve to win. There was a lovely moment in the final, when the referee was about to give a penalty and the attacking Beacon player admitted that he had actually handled the ball. A competitive, yet respectful morning and it was a genuine pleasure to run! Well done and thank you to everyone involved.
