Peer to peer mentoring

As part of our work towards completing the Wellbeing Award, next term we will be introducing Wellbeing Mentors. A group of boys from Year 8 have volunteered to take on this role and they will soon be receiving guidance from Matron and the Wellbeing team to give them the tools to help their peers in all aspects of their wellbeing. We hope that the introduction of these peer mentors will mean that boys always know where they can go and who they can talk to if they need a helping hand.

We have published our Wellbeing Strategy this week, which looks at the areas of wellbeing and mental health that we believe can make the most difference to our staff, pupils and parents. Our aim is to ensure that everyone in the Moulsford community is able to maintain positive wellbeing and mental health, for the best possible outcomes in life, no matter what the circumstances are.

Moulsford aims for boys to be happy, putting the boys’ emotional wellbeing and mental health at the heart of the School’s aspirations. We aspire that Moulsford boys are kind, polite, motivated, proactive, and resilient and aim to support one another and the wider community.

We are delighted that these Year 8 boys have put themselves forward for what we hope will be a very rewarding and valuable role.
