Fantastic festive performances

The end of term has, as usual, been very busy for the boys of the Junior and Senior Choirs, the Jazz Ensemble and the Orchestra. Thursday 5th December saw a number of Choristers going to Rush Court Nursing Home, to kick off their festivities with a few Christmas favourites and a preview of the Carol Service. The morning, ending with a mince pie and a cup of tea, was a great success, and we left the residents very much in holiday spirits!

Both Choirs and the Jazz Ensemble made their annual appearances at the MPA Christmas Fair on Saturday 7th December. Once again they were well received, and a fun morning was enjoyed by all!

As always, the Senior Choir and the Orchestra provided the 'mainstay' for the Carol Service at the Falklands Memorial Chapel at Pangbourne College.  Wyatt I, as Head Chorister, opened the proceedings beautifully with 'Once in Royal David's City' and the Senior Choir and Orchestra provided the rest, with memorable solos from Jack P and Kit H-N. It was also lovely to see a good number of Old Moles back to play for us in this wonderful end of term event. Merry Christmas, everyone!
