Another Great Day on The Ridgeway!

“I’m glad there’s been some rain, it means there’ll be some puddles!”, one boy was heard to say at the start of this year’s Rhino Ride last Sunday, and that set the scene for another fabulous day on the Ridgeway.  53 Moulsford boys from Years 5 to 8, along with siblings and parents – 101 in total – cycled 21 miles off road from the White Horse at Uffington to Moulsford, raising funds for the ‘Inspire Children and Youth Trust’ which will be supported by the School’s South Africa Rugby Tour next Easter.  Rainstorms earlier in the week meant that the route was not without its challenges, but we were blessed with fine, dry weather for the day.  All of our cyclists completed the course, plenty of them spattered with chalky grey mud, but with wide smiles all round as they were welcomed back at Moulsford with some beautifully cooked burgers and sausage rolls.

A big thank you to all the helpers, and well done the cyclists; it’s an achievement they can be proud of.
