A reflective and celebratory service
On Thursday, we had our annual Easter Service. This celebration, of a very important event in the Christian calendar, included contributions from the Senior Choir and the Junior Choir, whilst readings were given by the Head Boy, Charlie M, and Henry C, also a member of Year 8.
The service was both reflective and celebratory. The Junior Choir gave a rousing performance of ‘Gonna Rise up Singing’, whilst the Senior Choir supported soloists Alex M-K and Wyatt I, in a performance of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Pie Jesu. They also sang ‘You Raise Me Up’, with a heartfelt solo from this term’s Head Chorister, Oli S.
Well done to all the boys, and let’s hope they remember the real meaning of Easter, as they munch their way through chocolate eggs during the coming holidays!
