A brilliant way to end the half term
On Friday before Half Term, we held our annual Junior Musicians’ Concert. The concert involved a large number of our junior boys and featured a vast range of instruments, from electric guitars to harps! There were also a few wonderful vocal numbers. The programme was extremely diverse and the concert welcomed musicians who had only recently begun learning, to others who have been learning for a few years. It was wonderful to see so many budding performers eager to perform in front of an audience and we had 48 acts! It was a fantastic opportunity for our junior musicians to showcase the pieces on which they have worked so hard. The concert was then closed by the Junior Choir, who sang ‘Bright Canary-Yellow Gypsy Caravan’, a lovely song based on the story of The Wind in the Willows. What a brilliant half term send-off, and a huge well done to all those involved!
